THE DANCE SCHOOL PRESENTS:

STORYTELLING THROUGH WRITING AND DANCE

This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission.

We are offering free 6-week series for students in grades K-1 and grades 2-3 to combine literacy and communication skills with movement and self-expression through the performance art form of dance. Students will combine writing, poetry, voice and movement to create a story as original as they are Through this program, students will be able to pick their own interests to write and develop stories with experiences that interest them.

The Dance School recognizes that the past few years have presented many financial challenges for our community. We believe dance and arts programs should be accessible to everyone. With the support from Washington State Arts Commission, we are able to offer these series classes for free to the community in Everett, Lake Stevens and Marysville.
