As a non-profit organization, we depend on the generosity and support of our community. Tuition funds approximately 70% of our operating expenses and the rest comes from individual, foundation, public agencies and corporate support. All donations, no matter their size, help us continue the legacy of dance in downtown Everett.

At The Dance School, our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to learn how to dance, sing and perform; where creativity, individuality and self-expression are encouraged. There is no greater purpose in our work than teaching our students the beauty and strength inherent in dance as an art form and the joy that comes from exploring the human body and its abilities. We firmly believe that dance, and the arts, should be accessible to everyone. Financial circumstances should never be a barrier to pursuing one’s passion and to experience an environment where all students can feel empowered, comfortable and free to express themselves.
We are excited to announce the launch of our Annual Scholarship Fund Drive, coinciding with our much-anticipated event, I Love to Dance, and culminating in Washington’s Give Big event on May 7-8. This fundraising initiative aims to support our financial scholarship program for the upcoming school year, enabling us to continue providing assistance to those in need.
Currently, we are assisting 54 students from 38 families, offering scholarships ranging from 50% to 100% off tuition and fees. These scholarships, totaling over $35,000, have made it possible for many aspiring dancers to pursue their dreams. Without this support, they would not have had the opportunity to participate in our classes and performances.
The need in our community remains significant, and we rely on the generosity of individuals like you to sustain our scholarship program. Your contributions directly impact the lives of those who otherwise might not have access to the arts. For those of you able to contribute to our Annual Scholarship Fund, we humbly ask for your support so all in our community can experience the joy of dance.  Your donations, made between now and May 8, will directly contribute to funding scholarships for the upcoming school year. Whether you choose to donate when ordering your free tickets to I Love to Dance, on the day of the performance on April 14th, or through our website, every contribution makes a difference.

Support your dancer(s) at our performances by buying flowers from our Flower Fundraiser! Purchase a bouquet for your dancer that will be available for pickup at the venue during intermission or after the performance. Our staff/volunteers will be in the lobby at a designated table with your flower orders. This is a great way to surprise your dancer and provide a special gift for their performance on stage.

All proceeds from our performances support our financial scholarships, renovations/upgrades and operating costs. You can purchase a ticket or share our event with your family, friends and community who would like to support our dancers and attend one of our events.

Donate items from our Amazon wishlist that will ship directly to our studio. These are items we would love to offer for our programs, upgrades within the studio, and our day-to-day supplies that we regularly need for operations. Thank you for supporting The Dance School!

The Dance School is always looking for volunteers to help us throughout our dance season. We have tasks and projects we need assistance with including sewing, painting, minor construction upgrades, and more. Email with your interest and availability to help us complete a task.

Share our website, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp and events to your friends, network and community. The Dance School welcomes all dancers and members of the community to dance with us. Thank you so much for your support.
