DRESS CODE INFORMATION

WHY DOES YOUR STUDIO HAVE A DRESS CODE?

Dancers need to wear clothing that allows an instructor to properly see alignment to prevent injuries and incorrect habits. We want students to be able to move freely without restriction and without distractions in class. The Dance School has a no glitter policy to keep our dance floors clean and safe for all students.

We are happy to make accommodations for sensory needs.

No outdoor shoes are allowed on our dance floors. To keep our dance floors clean, all dancers must bring a second pair of shoes to wear outside when entering/leaving the studio.

TDS SHOE WALL

For gently used or donated dance shoes (ballet, jazz, tap) please check out our shoe wall located in the lobby of our studio.

As your dance outgrows their dance shoes, please consider giving them a new home at The Dance School. There may just be a dancer that can benefit from your outgrown but still wearable shoes.
