We are a community funded, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the art of dance.
We are a community of people who share a passion for the performing arts. Located in downtown Everett, The Dance School welcomes all members of the community to dance with us. We are committed to providing a safe, positive environment where all students can feel empowered, comfortable and free to express themselves.
We believe dance should be accessible to everyone! Through donations and grants, we offer talent scholarships and need-based financial scholarships. Awards range from 50-100% off tuition.
ANYONE CAN DANCE! We offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. We have programming at all levels. If you are new to dance, or very experienced, there is a class at The Dance School for you.

We are offering free 6-week series for students in grades K-1 and grades 2-3 to combine literacy and communication skills with movement and self-expression through the performance art form of dance. Students will combine writing, poetry, voice and movement to create a story as original as they are. Through this program, students will be able to pick their own interests to write and develop stories with experiences that interest them.
This class is offered at three locations! Everett, Marysville and Lake Stevens – Visit our storytelling page for more information and to register!
As a non-profit organization, we depend on the generosity and support of our community. Tuition funds approximately 70% of our operating expenses and the rest comes from individual, foundation, public agencies and corporate support. All donations, no matter their size, help us continue the legacy of dance in downtown Everett.
The Dance School is committed to providing financial assistance to students who have a desire to attend classes at our school. Scholarships range from 50% to 100% off tuition. Visit our scholarship page to learn more and apply.
