School Policies

Class placement

Class sizes are limited to provide individualized instruction. In order to maintain a consistent skill level within each class, dancers with prior dance experience wishing to enroll after a session has begun may take a free placement class or discuss placement with the director.

Make-up classes

Dancers are encouraged to make up missed classes. There are no refunds for classes missed. Dancers may take a make-up class in the same or lower level. In case of planned absences, make-up classes may be taken prior to the absence. Make-up classes may not be taken during observation/demonstration week.

Class Observation/Demonstration

We invite family and friends to observe class the 9th week of each semester. There will also be an in studio class demonstration the last week of the semester and a year end performance in a theater at the end of the final semester. A waiting area is provided for non-visiting days.

Class Observation Week for Spring 2010: May 17–22

Enrollment

The Dance School's enrollment policy is based on three semesters. We encourage students to enroll for the entire semester, however we do have rolling admissions that allow for late registration should space permit. Holidays have been figured into tuition fees.
